Naga Vamsi has shared an interesting update about Suriya’s upcoming film which is directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Sithara Entertainments. He revealed that the film presents a fresh and different take on romance especially for a star hero like Suriya.
According to Naga Vamsi the story revolves around a 45 year man and a young woman aged around 20 to 21. The film does not follow a usual commercial pattern.
Instead it shows how the two characters meet, understand each other and eventually fall in love. The age gap between them is not ignored but plays an important role in the story.
Unlike many stories where age differences are brushed aside this film treats the relationship with sensitivity. The focus is on emotions rather than glamour.
Suriya choosing such a role shows his shift towards meaningful storytelling. With director’s emotional touch, expectations are high. The shoot is almost complete and the film is planned for a summer 2026 release.
